Clock Speaker Units - Digital

National Time offers a digital clock with speaker combination enclosure to house an 8" speaker and D/ DX/DU225 series digital clocks. This new microprocessor based secondary clock and the MC-100 Master Clock form a unique time keeping system offering on demand time correction. This digital communication format can power and instantly correct all secondary clocks to any time of day using only two conductor low voltage wire.... This format eliminates expensive 120v/ 24v power feeds as well as costly battery replacement. Popular synchronous clock reset formats (hour and 12 hour) are also supported to facilitate 'drop-in' replacements and retrofits. 24VAC, and 120VAC units are available in attractive 2.25" high visibility, wide-bar digits. The durable steel housing incorporates a universal mounting plate which securely mounts the 8" speaker (not included) and utilizes the same holes as standard speaker bezels with holes on 11", 10", or 8" centers. The clock/ speaker semi-flush housing completely encloses the digital clock and mounts proud of the backbox to facilitate the use of standard speaker boxes for 24V clock applications. For 120VAC clock installations, the backbox must accommodate the D2T-120/24 transformer. See data sheet figures. Powder gray finish with black speaker grill standard. The removable speaker grill could also accommodate custom fabrics. Other colors upon request.

Clock Speaker Units - Analog

National Time Clock/Speaker units are designed to accommodate a 10 or 12 inch clock in the same enclosure as an 8 inch conventional speaker. The front trim installs on a factory supplied wall box equipped with a hanger plate to receive angular hanger brackets. No fasteners are visible on the trim plate. In the wall box, a divider separates the clock and speaker and the speaker side is acoustically treated. A terminal strip attached to the box simplifies wiring of the unit. The entire assembly is metal constructed and the trim plate is attractively finished with white enamel. The matching clock and speaker bezel are finished in powder gray. Other finishes are available. For installations where it is desirable to install the clock and speaker separately, a matching speaker grille is available. The recessed clock and speaker wall boxes are installed together on a horizontal or vertical blane. No trim plate is required as is used on combination units. *Consult factory for a vertical mount unit.

Power Limited 24VAC Supplies

The National Time PS-3, PS-6, PS-12 Power Supplies are designed to compliment National Time's Master Clocks with low voltage digital and/or analog clocks. Each offers power limited transformer(s) with individual circuit breakers to allow less costly Class 2 wiring installations. Each transformer can supply 3.12A of 24VAC. For 2- wire clock systems, each transformer supports a clock circuit, while for 3-wire systems one transformer supplies 'run' power while another supplies the 'reset' power for a clock circuit. The power supplies may be converted to Remote Power Boosters with the addition of the optional PS-Relays. Each power supply is housed in a durable steel enclosure designed to match National Time's Master Clocks and create an integrated and attractive installation.

PS-3:

One 3.12A 120/24VAC Transformer will support one 2-wire clock circuit. Order one PS-Relay to create circuit booster supply. 9"x8"x4" Enclosure. Two knockouts each side.

PS-6:

Two 3.12A 120/24VAC Transformers will support either two 2-wire clock circuits, or one 3- wire clock circuit. Order one PS-Relay to create a dual circuit 2-wire booster, or two PS-Relays to create a 3- wire circuit booster supply. 9"x8"x4" Enclosure. Two knockouts each side.

PS-12:

Four 3.12A 120/24VAC Transformers will support either four 2-wire clock circuits, or two 3- wire circuits. Order one PS-Relay to create a quad circuit 2-wire booster, or two PS-Relays to create a dual 3-wire circuit booster supply. 12"x12"x4" Enclosure. Two knockouts top and bottom.

URT-EX Series Universal Reset Translators

The URT-EX's microprocessor can intelligently interpret reset sequences of different systems and translate them into a reset that National Time's EX series secondary clock will accept. Using solid state switching circuitry, the URT takes control of the secondary clocks and synchronizes them with other clocks on the system. Now, National Time's superior time-tested clock movement can operate on a different manufacturer's reset protocol.

URT-OD Series Universal Reset Translators

The URT-OD series reset translator will enhance existing clock systems to perform National Time's On-Demand Technology. National Time's current series of analog and digital clocks don't force you to wait for long periods as your clock system recovers from a power interruption. The URT-OD will add On-Demand resets to your existing master clock by controlling National Time's D/DX/ DU Series digital clocks and/or National Time's RD2WS/RD3WS Series analog clocks. Without batteries, the URT-OD will keep time for over a week during power outages and immediately correct the clocks when power is restored. The standard URT-OD can fit into an existing clock electrical box and control multiple clocks. The URTH-OD has the unique capability of superimposing the On-Demand correction technology over the existing clock circuit wiring not effecting the existing clocks of other manufacturers. This allows the new National Time clocks on that circuit to correct to the proper time immediately after power outages or time changes.

MC100-GPS and MC3-GPS

The National Time GPS Antenna enables the MC100 Master Clock to receive accurate time information from up to 12 satellites. Each satellite sets its time based on the atomic clock at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) which is exact to milliseconds in ten thousand years. The GPS Antenna sends the number of satellites in view to the MC100 which is displayed on its LCD display. For proper operation, only three satellites are necessary. The communication between the MC100 and antenna is supervised and fault conditions are displayed. During fault conditions, the masters use their internal crystal to keep time accurate. The standard outdoor mounting requires a 1" x 14 TPI pole (by others). The GPS antenna comes standard with a 30' cable. Cable length may be extended to 100' with 5 conductor shielded low capacitance cable. For further distances up to 4000', RS232 to RS485 converters may be used (Telebyte 253T or equivalent) with 4 conductor shielded low capacitance cable.
